Freebird Airlines was founded in 2000 and is one of the leading private airlines in Turkey. Flight operations began in 2001. Since 2019, Freebird Airlines has been operating to and from Germany with a fleet of three Airbus A320 aircraft.
Freebird is a subsidiary of Gözen Holding, which provides services in representation, fuel supply, supervision, brokerage, security, and training.
With the goal of achieving excellence as an airline, Freebird Airlines strives to create value for its customers, employees, and shareholders. It was the first airline in Turkey to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification from TÜV Rheinland in 2002. Freebird Airlines Europe is seeking A320 type-rated Commanders who are willing to be based in Leipzig and meet the qualifications, experience, and requirements below.
Requirements:
• Valid ATPL(A) issued in accordance with EASA-FCL
• Valid A320 type rating
• Valid Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with EASA-MED
• Minimum PIC Experience: 1000 hours on the A320 family
• Minimum 2500 flight hours total experience on aircraft MTOW ≥ 27.000 kg
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an airline pilot
• No administrative penalty from any Civil Aviation Authority and not being involved in any aviation-related accident
• Max age of 62
• Minimum ICAO level 5 English proficiency
• Eligibility to work within EU
• Criminal free record
• Ability to reach the base within 60 minutes during stand-by duties
• Permanent contract type based in Leipzig
