Captain B737 (TR)

GP Aviation

Prishtina

Job Description

GP Aviation was started in 2016 by Cpt. Ganesh Piga in Zürich, Switzerland as an aircraft ferry and test flight company and later successfully commenced operations as a commercial airline under a Bulgarian AOC with its main hub in Prishtina, Kosovo.

GP Aviation requires its pilots to actively contribute and commit to becoming supportive members of its “cockpit family”, the routes are “simple and consistent”, the actual task lays in being able to deal with daily challenges when they turn from a rather smooth flow into a dynamic and hectic work environment. Pilots will be given more freedom in decision-making around the aircraft and operation that they may have been used to, but will also be asked to anticipate more when it comes to keeping this airline running efficiently and are expected to be more vigilant and observant to ensure a safe operation.

GP Aviation attempts to provide a stable and secure 2 weeks ON/OFF roster throughout the year, but pilots are asked to understand the dynamic environment of this kind of operation and the need for more working hours to be put in, especially during winter and summer season, where passenger numbers are peaking.
