Job Description
Your goal will be to provide the very best flight experience possible for each passenger. You will join one of British Airways' four long-haul fleets, with opportunities to transfer between aircraft types or transition to short-haul Captain positions.
Minimum Criteria to Apply
Current type rating with minimum 1,500 total flight hours (500+ on relevant aircraft; max 100 in simulator)
Flying experience on a relevant aeroplane type within the past 12 months
UK Part-FCL licence (ATPL(A) or equivalent hours to obtain it)
UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate with 6+ months validity remaining
Height 1.57m to 1.91m (taller applicants may require functionality assessment)
Good level of physical fitness
ICAO English Level 6 (spoken and written)
Valid passport with 12+ months before expiry
Uniform compliance; tattoos acceptable except on hands, face, or head
Swimming capability: 50m followed by treading water for 3 minutes, and water rescue assistance skills
