Ostfriesischer-Flug-Dienst GmbH is a regional airline with its headquarters in the seaport city of Emden. We specialize in scheduled and sightseeing flights for the islands of Borkum, Helgoland and the beautiful North Sea coast. As a pilot with us, let holidaymakers' hearts beat faster. At sight-flight altitude, the breathtaking landscape and the Wadden Sea pass by. Wind and weather are also subject to rapid changes here, as are take-offs and landings. They operate scheduled flights between the mainland and the island as well as sightseeing and charter flights.
The OFD is part of the AG „EMS “ group, which stands for scheduled services to the islands of Borkum, Helgoland and Neuwerk and also offers tourist services.

The OFD is an airline that carries out demand, taxi and charter flights in accordance with Article 3 paragraph 1 (EC) No. 1008/2008. The OFD's island-flight fleet consists of various modern aircraft types, the capacities, flight, take-off and landing properties of which are optimally geared to the conditions on the North Sea.
The cruising altitude is approx. 500 meters, the speed around 200 km / h.
