is currently seeking a
Senior Simulator Instructor - Global Flight Training Standardization
to join the team in
Crawley
.
This position is in support of instructor standardization across our campuses, as well as supporting a growing global statement of work in support of external customer CBTA instructor training. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Position Responsibilities:
The highest caliber of instructors – the ability to acquire and maintain all instructor qualification for at least one model
Global travel to support customer instructor training up to 4 weeks at a time
Lead facilitation in a briefing, debriefing, and classroom setting
Represent the Boeing brand in the global aviation training industry
Mentor and coach other instructors through the qualification and training process
Provide input and feedback to drive change, working collaboratively with other internal stakeholders
Evaluate and assess trainee progress through the use of competencies and observable behaviors
Promote global instructor standardization, providing coordination at the Gatwick campus, working in partnership with other Boeing global campuses
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options
.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Previous Boeing instructor experience on at least one model
EASA Air Transport Pilot certificate or Military Equivalent. Either active or expired is acceptable.
Simulator instructor experience, specifically with transport category airplanes
Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1000 hours of Pilot in Command
Experience as a Pilot Simulator Instructor in Transport Category Aircraft in an airline or training center environment
Experience or willingness to embrace Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) courseware delivery, to include student and instructor tutoring assessment of competencies
Technically savvy with an iPad, courseware media, and use of a classroom; ensuring training environment is properly prepared in advance; experience with MS Office
Strong communication skills, written, verbal and listening
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
