Job Description
Key Responsibilities
– Oversee and ensure compliance with all aviation safety standards and practices.
– Administer relevant sections of the AOC holder’s operational manuals, particularly OM-B.
– Work closely with management systems to maintain operational efficiency.
– Lead and support the Airbus flight crew, contributing to the development of a strong safety culture.
– Provide effective people management and leadership to maintain smooth operations.
Minimum Requirements
– Hold or have held a valid flight crew license with associated ratings appropriate to the type of operations conducted under the AOC.
– 2000 hours as PIC on Airbus family aircraft.
– Practical experience in the application of aviation safety standards.
– Comprehensive knowledge of AOC holder’s operations specifications, applicable EU regulations, and related requirements.
– Appropriate management experience, ideally in a comparable organization.
Skills and Competencies
– Strong understanding of EASA rules and regulations.
– Expertise in aircrew rostering and Fatigue Management processes.
– Excellent people management, communication, and organizational skills.
– Ability to handle complex issues, time pressure, and maintain high standards.
– Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and computer literacy (MS Office).
– Relevant experience within DAT or the airline industry in an equivalent position is an advantage.
